Greening our Schools: How to Improve the Learning Environment for our Students - A Collaborative Educational Event with Dream In Green and the City of Miami Office of Sustainable Initiatives
USGBC Miami is proud to announce this month's educational program in collaboration with Dream In Green and The City of Miami Office of Sustainable Initiatives. Please join us for a fascinating presentation focused on improving the learning environment for students via green building strategies.
The evening's program will begin at 5:30 pm with registration, followed by an introduction on Greening our Schools, Dream in Green and USGBC Miami programs and initiatives.
Attendees will then enjoy the program, which will include:
6:00pm- Tour of Green Lab
6:20pm- USGBC LEED for Schools program overview and LEED Silver School virtual tour/video
6:30pm- Program discussion: Improving the Learning Environment for Students
7:00pm- Networking
Please note that parking onsite is very limited. There is plenty of parking on adjacent street, please visit the Green Lab website for more information.
Our Branch programs are FREE to USGBC members, and non-members are charged a nominal $10 admission fee to help cover meeting costs.
