South Florida’s Greenest Halloween Party started on the Treasure Coast at 7pm on October 28 at the Element Martini Lounge in Port St. Lucie. Then, under cover of darkness, the “living dead” slithered down to West Palm Beach on October 30, coming back to life at 7pm inside Hotel Biba. These gatherings marked the 2nd anniversary of the founding of the USGBC Treasure Coast/Palm Beach Branch.
The creatively concocted celebrations were made possible by generous financial support from Ocean Gate General Contractors, Inc. of Stuart, and Kohler Company of WPB. Many terrific prizes were donated, including computer training classes, attraction tickets, “eco-audits,” salon gift cards, wine chillers, and assorted organic “spirits.”
We want to thank everyone who made these celebrations possible: Our presenting sponsors, Kohler and Ocean Gate.
Our supporting sponsors and prize donors: Element Martini Lounge and Hotel Biba; Hurricane Grill & Wings and Olympic Diner; GE, Armstrong, 3form, PC Professor, Power & Lighting Systems Inc., Maharam, JC White Quality Office Furniture, Greenblock Insulated Concrete Forms, and Glidden, Spina & Partners, Architecture and Interior Design Inc. Last, but not least, to our very own party planners, volunteer leaders, and all the “ghouls & gremlins” that made both our parties rock – THANKS TO EVERYONE!!!

Already looking forward to Hallow-Green 2010!
